Christa Culver Wasserman Elevated to Partner
In 2021, the Firm elevated Christa Culver Wasserman to Partner. Christa joined the Firm in 2018 after several years as an associate in the Los Angeles office of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, where she represented prominent financial institutions in numerous cases brought by parties seeking billions of dollars in claims concerning mortgage-backed securities. Since joining the Firm, Christa has developed a broad range of experience, with particular expertise in the defense of federal criminal fraud prosecutions; securities matters, as well as other cases involving the financial services sector; and regulatory matters, including cases involving the federal export control regulations.

Christa earned her law degree from Stanford Law School, where she was awarded the Gerald Gunther Prize for Outstanding Performance in Criminal Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in Comparative Literature and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Christa works out of the Firm’s Downtown Los Angeles office.
