Melissa Rapp joined the Firm in 2021 after graduating from the UCLA School of Law. Melissa has since gained a variety of experiences in a range of matters, including fraud, shareholder derivative claims, and internal investigations. While earning her law degree, Melissa worked as a research assistant and completed two summer associate positions: one at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and the other at entertainment boutique One LLP. Prior to law school, Melissa spent four years at Rossmann & Moore, LLP, a natural resources litigation firm in San Francisco. Most recently, Melissa served as an attorney fellow for the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s office in the consumer & environmental protection unit.
Melissa graduated from Stanford University with a BA in History, Literature & the Arts. While at Stanford, she studied abroad at the University of Oxford, England and was an Academic All-American athlete. She received a master’s degree in Education Research & Policy from UC Santa Barbara, where she taught undergraduate writing courses and worked as a technical writer.
