Scott litigates complex civil matters in state and federal courts across the country, with experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides. Prior to joining the Firm, Scott served as a law clerk to the Honorable William Alsup of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and as an associate at boutique litigation shops in San Diego and Pasadena.
Before returning to chambers as a law clerk, Scott served as an extern to Judge Alsup while earning his law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law. During law school, Scott also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Hastings Business Law Journal, competed on the moot court team, and once found himself grimacing across the San Francisco Marathon finish line. Scott earned his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara, where he served as a collegiate senator and student representative to the Faculty Executive Committee.
